Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh has been appointed as Director & Non-executive Part-time Chairman of the Company w.e.f. 08.01.2025

Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, a graduate in Mining Machinery Engineering from IIT Dhanbad (formerly ISM Dhanbad) in the year 1989 and holding MBA degree in Marketing. He started his career in the steel industry at the Iron Ore Mine of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in the year 1989. He has a remarkable working experience of over 35 years in mines and steel.

Before joining NALCO as Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Shri Singh was Director-In-Charge for Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plant and member on the Board of SAIL. He had a unique blend of experience, excelling in mining operations and holding key positions in four of SAIL’s integrated steel plants i.e. BSP (Bhilai Steel Plant), BSL (Bokaro Steel Limited), DSP (Durgapur Steel Plant) and ISP (IISCO Steel Plant).

Shri Gowri Sankara Rao Naramsetti has been appointed as Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Company w.e.f. 01.01.2025

Shri Gowri Sankara Rao Naramsetti is a Chartered Accountant by profession, qualified in the year 1989. He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Andhra University in 1985. He started his career by joining Hyderabad Cylinders Private Limited, Hyderabad in 1989.

Thereafter, in 1991 he joined Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), VSP as Junior Manager (F&A) and elevated to General Manager (F&A) before joining MIDHANI. He assumed charge as Director (Finance) in MIDHANI w.e.f. 27.10.2020.

Shri Gowri Sankara Rao Naramsetti is having experience of 31 years (of which 29 years in RINL).

He handled various areas like Financial Planning & Control, Budgeting, Concurrence, International Trade, International Financing, Taxation, Costing and Accountancy at RINL, VSP. With his vast experience, he lead the implementation of ERP (SAP) in RINL for FI,CO,FM and also gain experience in other related modules like SD, MM, PP, HR and other extended modules like SRM, CRM, APO. He was involved in implementing various process improvements and MIS including Bill Tracking System for top management, external agencies like Ministry, Suppliers, Auditors etc.

During his association with RINL, VSP, he received prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Award for the year 1994-95 for outstanding performance in three years of joining in RINL, VSP. Further, he had also obtained Employees Instantaneous Recognition Award for outstanding Performance and Special Performance Reward from the Company for the savings made and substantial refunds obtained from Income Tax Department which were long pending.

Shri T. Muthukumar, 57 years of age, has completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy) from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in the year 1986. He has over 34 years of experience in the Steel industry.

Shri T. Muthukumar joined Durgapur Steel Plant, one of the integrated steel plants of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) as Management Trainee in the year 1987. He has since risen through the ranks at SAIL after working at various departments at different levels. He was promoted as Chief General Manager (I/c Works) at Salem Steel Plant, SAIL in the year 2019. He has served at SAIL, Salem Steel Plant from the year 1994 till 2019. Before moving to MIDHANI, he was working as Chief General Manager (Projects) at Durgapur Steel Plant from the year 2020 onwards.

Shri T. Muthukumar has attended various International Training programs & Conferences and been a Chairman of Alloy Steel Committee. During his career at SAIL, he was credited with successfully developing and commercialising the production of various new grades to increase the market base. He was also credited with Alloy designing and development of various grades and high Nitrogen austenitic stainless steel and for successfully rolling and supplying ICSS-1218-321 (12X18H10T) stainless steel for ISRO, Chandrayan Mission. His contribution to indigenization includes; establishing process route to supply material for Delhi Metro Railway Coaches manufactured by BEML, Bangalore. At Salem Steel Plant, SAIL, he was also instrumental in initiating in-house fabrication of Rail cutting machine and establishment of Plate annealing facility.

Shri Nagarajan Ravi has  been appointed as Director of the Company w.e.f. 13.11.2024.

Shri Nagarajan Ravi is currently serving in National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) as Group General Manager (Business Development) at its Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from NIT, Jamshedpur, Shri Ravi began his career in NALCO as a 5^th batch Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in 1988. He was posted in the NALCO’s Captive Power Plant (CPP) in Angul, Odisha as GET, where he held different key positions in commissioning and successful operations of CPP till 2005 before taking over the challenging assignment of Business Development of the Company at Corporate Office, Bhubaneswar. During his long service association of more than three and half decades with NALCO, Shri Ravi has initially contributed significantly in Captive Power Plant efficient operations, subsequently taking up various new Business Development activities in Greenfield & Brownfield aluminium projects, Joint Venture projects, diversification initiatives, Renewable Energy Projects and charting out growth plans for the Company.
